(NewsDakota.com) – A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday morning for the new Titan Machinery store to be located west of the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Construction at the site has been ongoing, and the store is expected to be open in June or July of 2013.

Jamestown Titan Machinery store Manager Tom Hausman says the new dealership location will allow Titan to expand and grow its operations when it moves out of its current location in town.

Titan currently has 32 full time employees in Jamestown. Hausman says they will add at least another three full-time employees when the new store opens.

The 20-acre property will feature about 55,000 square feet in the main building for the full-service Titan dealership. An additional 22,000 square feet of storage will be located on the property as well. The facility is expected to cost up to $6 million.
