JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Press release from Jamestown High School
The Jamestown High School Activities Department would like to announce the hiring of Jack Bowman as the next head coach of Blue Jay Baseball.
Jack is currently assistant manager at Walmart in Jamestown and also owns and operates 2 Below Zero, Shave Ice in Valley City and Jamestown.
His recent baseball coaching experience includes serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Jamestown Men’s Baseball Team. He has also previously worked as an Assistant Coach at Ricks College, Rexburg, ID as well as having served as Head Legion Baseball Coach in Idaho Falls, ID.
Jim Roaldson, JHS Activities Director, states, “We are excited to see where Coach Bowman can lead this program. Previous Head Coach, Kelley Kessler, left the program in great shape and there is a nucleus of players returning on which to continue to build. Continuing to develop that positive, committed team culture while bringing in his own influences will be Coach Bowman’s biggest challenge.”
