DILWORTH, MN (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City went across the border to Dilworth, Minnesota to take on Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton. Different state, same result. Hi-Liners won the first seven weights and cruised to a 49-18 win over the Rebels.

Koltyn Grebel won a 4-1 decision at 106 over TJ Fuller. Koye Grebel pinned Bricker Bakken in 3:05 at 113. Tucker Johnson pinned Austin Lenhart in 3:35 at 120. Logan Novara went up a weight class, no problem. Novara took a 5-0 decision over Roy Rude.

Ethan Miller and Isaiah Schuldheisz picked up pins at 132 and 138 respectively. Espen Kunze won a 5-2 match at 145 to make it 33-0 Hi-Liners.

Evan Mielke gave up an escape and a take down late in his match with Casey Masziewski losing 14-12 at 152 to cut the Hi-Liner lead to 33-3.

The dual was clinched when Ezra Hanse won by major decision, 10-0 at 160 to make it 37-3. Broden Muske got a pin at 170 and Jonathan Redfearn won by forfeit at 182 to make the score 49-3 Valley City.

The Rebels would take the last three weights. Preston Johnson with a pin of Jonah Schuldheisz at 195. Hunter Fisher with a 7-3 win over Carson McGough and Blake Cota had a pin of Devyn Thornton at 285. Final: Valley City 49, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 18.

Hi-Liners are now 14-1 on the season and have won six duals in a row. They will head to Fargo South for a triangular with the Bruins and Wahpeton on Thursday. Then head to Grand Forks for a Triangular with Central and Thief River Falls on Saturday.
