JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City crews in Jamestown will begin clearing drifted snow in the downtown district starting Wednesday, December 23rd at 11 p.m.
In a press release, the city is asking that all vehicles be removed from the downtown streets, avenues, and alleyways.
City Ordinance Section 25-10 requires that a property owner keep the sidewalk adjoining the property clear of snow and ice. The city reminds residents to not deposit snow or ice on the city street after the city plow has cleared the street. These violations are class B misdemeanors under the general penalty and will result in a fine.
