JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Finance & Legal Committee discussed a request from the North Dakota Department of Human Services for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The memorandum request was proposed to help in the collection of abandoned property, unknown substances or illicit/controlled substances.
Major Justin Blinsky says the agreement would outline the responsibilities for the Human Service Center and Police Department for how they should proceed in those instances.
He added there are instances where they remove unknown substances with utmost precaution.
The committee unanimously approved the Memorandum of Understanding.
