VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Davies opened the game on a 20-1 run and never looked back on the way to a 76-51 win over Valley City in Eastern Dakota Conference girls basketball Tuesday night at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.

Ryleigh Wacha and Brooklyn Koenig combined for four three pointers and 20 points in the first half. Wacha would add 11 points in the second half for a game high 20. Koenig added 13 and Taylor Fey had 11. Kaden Kerzman came off the bench to grab a team high seven rebounds.

Brooke Eggermont led the Hi-Liners with 13 points and six rebounds. Jadyn Dieterle had 11 points, five rebounds and four assists for Valley City.

Valley City, now 0-1 on the year, travel to Grand Forks Central to play the Knights on Friday. Davies improves to 2-0 on the season and will host West Fargo Sheyenne on Friday.
