Beverly Martha Sadek, 86, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1934 to Martha and Howard in North Dakota. She married Curtis J. Sadek in February 1953 and they began building their family of five children Cathy, Butch, Connie, Kevin, and Crissy. They moved to California and raised their children. Bev became a grandmother to nine grandchildren over the course of the years and, eventually, became the great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren. Every single child, grandchild and great-grandchild had a special bond with her and felt comfort and unconditional love in her presence.

Beverly lived her life in the service of others, raising her family and working hard in the medical field. She and her husband developed strong community ties and were loved by many in both the California and North Dakota towns they called home throughout their life together.

Beverly was a fierce matriarch that loved to cook, eat, gamble, and show love. She was a dear friend to many throughout the years and even became the leader of the Red Hat Society in her care center community, a place she called home for the last few years of her life (the family is forever grateful for the care she was shown there). A force to be reckoned with, a compassionate and deeply caring woman, her legacy and memory will live on in those that knew and loved her.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Sadek, sons Curtis “Butch,” Kevin, Stephen Rittenhouse and daughter Crystal Rittenhouse.

Beverly is survived in death by daughters Cathy (Ken) Burr and Connie (John) Hughey along with many great grandchildren and grandchildren.
