VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The first COVID-19 vaccines will be coming to Barnes County on the week of December 21st according to City County Health Director Theresa Will.

But she said there could be a few people susceptible to an allergic reaction.

She said if all goes well most of us will have an opportunity to be vaccinated in the spring or summer of 2021.

In other news, the COVID-19 testing site in Valley City is now held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1pm to 2pm inside the VCSU Fieldhouse know as the Bubble.

Theresa Will said the Quick Test is available Wednesday and Friday’s. She said the Quick Test is accurate.

Once again, COVID-19 testing is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm to 2pm in the VCSU Fieldhouse in Valley City. She said people will have to wear a face mask while waiting in line at the test site. She said those who need assistance should use the east entrance and all others can use the west door. Register online at testreg.nd.gov. Once registered you can get tested multiple times.
