JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County Interim Auditor/COO Jessica Alonge gave her expense report for the 2020 General Election Tuesday.

She reports that 10,044 ballots were counted, compared to 10,345 in 2016.

Alonge pointed out that they were over budget for the 2020 election, citing increased postage and other expenses with absentee ballots.

Alonge later reported that they had received their CARES payment for August through October payroll in the amount of $257,239. She says the November payroll will be submitted within the next week and December’s will be submitted in January.
