JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Rotary International has always strived to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
For more than 100 years, they have focused their efforts on the polio vaccine internationally. Jamestown Rotary Club President Sean Johnson says with the connections they’ve established over that time, they’re hopeful it’ll assist when it comes to distributing the COVID-19 vaccine in those same regions.
Johnson says he connected with Bob McLean, District Governor for Rotary, and asked what Rotary could be doing to help.
He added that it’s important to remember that Rotarians and community members of Jamestown need to remember the difference they can make.
Johnson says he’s excited to see how Rotary can help with their already established infrastructure in some of those other countries.
