JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Sean Rinkenberger of First Community Credit Union in Jamestown was named to the 2020 40 Under 40 list by Prairie Business.

Every year the magazine receives nominations of top talent for its annual 40 Under 40 recognition contest, who continue to help make the region a better place to work and live.

Rinkenberger serves as the Chief Financial Officer for FCCU, the largest Credit Union in North Dakota.

“Rinkenberger is passionate about solving problems and believes his team can always find ways to do things better,” the magazine says. “He oversees accounting, balance sheet strategy, and facilities management for the nearly billion-dollar credit union.”

In the community, Rinkenberger has spent time serving on numerous boards including the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals of Jamestown, and is a founding board member of the Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center.

Originally from Bottineu, N.D., he is a CPA and graduate of the University of Jamestown with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a recipient of both the President’s Key Award and the Young Alumni Medallion from the University of Jamestown.

The 40 Under 40 list profiles young professionals in the region, all under the age of 40. These professionals come from a range of industries and have made significant impacts in their chosen professions and communities. They are entrepreneurs, industry experts, executives and nonprofit leaders; they are business owners, patent holders, government officers and community trendsetters.

“The magazine received well more than 100 nominations, making the selection process challenging,” stated Andrew Weeks, editor of Prairie Business. “We can all learn something valuable from their examples, and Prairie Business thanks and congratulates each and every one of them for setting the bar high.”

“We walked away encouraged to see so many qualified professionals, and how they continue to impact the organizations and industries in which they work and lead,” he added.
