JAMESTOWN, N.D. (TRAC) – Triggered by a donation from Liam, a 4-year-old in the OnTRAC Learning Center, TRAC is excited to partner with Dacotah Bank, First Community Credit Union, Gate City Bank, and Unison Bank to host a challenge through “Piggy Bank” donations.

Anyone can be involved in supporting the construction of the Meidinger Splash Park by making a donation at the financial institutions listed above. The financial institution will match donations making individual contributions even more impactful. The challenge will run through January 31, 2021.

Each donor will become part of the Splash Makers Club and receive VIP benefits at Meidinger Splash Park

Any youth that donate will become a Splash Maker and will receive a t-shirt showing their support, and a small surprise when they make their donation.

They will also be invited to an exclusive celebration at the Meidinger Splash Park the day of the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting.

Liam’s mom, Beth Schwanz says “We thought it was so sweet when Liam said he wanted to donate his money to help build the splash park. He knows how much fun it will be and it was exciting for him to contribute to it!”

Amy Walters, Facility Manager states “We were blown away by the generosity of Liam. He is a very thoughtful young man and we are excited to launch this challenge that his donation sparked. The Meidinger Splash Park will be a space for all ages to enjoy. We are excited to start splashing in the summer of 2021.”
