CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A driver received minor injuries after rolling a semi loaded with sunflowers at the Carrington roundabout Monday afternoon.
Carrington Police Chief Nathan Kruse reports a call came in just after 2 PM to the incident.
“The driver was Eastbound on Highway 52 where he proceeded into the roundabout too fast and turned the tractor and trailer on its side, spilling the sunflowers he was hauling,” Chief Kruse stated.
The driver was transported to CHI St. Alexius Health for minor injuries and released.
“This is a reminder to the motoring public to slow down prior to entering the roundabout,” Chief Kruse added.
The name of the driver will be released at a later date.
