CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As COVID-19 cases rise in Foster County, CHI St. Alexius Health is taking time to remind visitors of their virtual clinic visits.

Nicole Threadgold, Foundation Director and Marketing Coordinator, says these visits are available with local providers and are a convenient alternative to coming into the clinic for an appointment.

Threadgold added there are some requirements you must have in order to participate in a virtual visit.

Threadgold says to do a virtual visit, you just contact the clinic as you would do for a normal appointment. She says they have videos available on their Facebook page to help explain the virtual visits.

Threadgold says virtual visits are never recorded and encrypted to ensure privacy of the patient.
