VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City snapped a mini two match losing streak with a straight set win over Fargo South Saturday afternoon. The Hi-Liners won 25-13, 25-10, 25-10.

Dylann Diegel had her second straight double-doubles with 22 assists and 15 digs. Offensively,  Peyton Pederson led the way with nine kills, Samantha Hatcher had eight. Pederson also had two aces and 1 1/2 blocks. Jocey Kriewald had 12 digs and three assists. Rachel Beierle chipped in two aces.

Valley City is now 7-10 overall and 5-8 in the Eastern Dakota Conference. The Hi-Liners will host Wahpeton on Tuesday night at the Hi-Liner Activity Center. Coverage begins at 6:45 on AM 1490/96.3 FM KOVC with video stream live at newsdakota.com
