GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Saturday, October 3rd, the Hi-Liner Cross Country team traveled to Grand Forks for their last meet before the conference meet.

The third mini-meet of the day consisted of West Fargo, Fargo Shanley, and Valley City. The meet started at 5:00 and the conditions were perfect for running.

Top runners were eighth grader Greta Goven for the girls and freshman Corben Golovanoff for the boys.

The day also resulted in ten personal records set as Greta Goven, Olivia Slyter, Tricia Pfennig, Corben Golovanoff, Luke Plagens, Keegan Couture, Evan Mielke, Connor Pfennig, Sam Borg, Parker Jacobson improved on their overall best times.

The next meet for the Hi-Liners is on Saturday, October 10th when they travel to Grand Forks for their EDC conference meet.
