CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Post 60 American Legion baseball team has announced it’s post-season awards for the 2012 season.

Pictured left to right are Jaden Keys, selected Post 60’s top pitcher; Josh Gilbertson, winning the Post 60 Award; Chase Carpenter, selected top hitter and most valuable player; Brett Stearns, Rookie of the Year winner; and Ben Sorenson, winning the Gold Glove honors.

Post 60 had a tremendous second-half of the season, finishing third in the Section 1 regular-season race and placing second in the sectional tournament to Wahpeton, a team that played for the state Class “B” championship.
