Rita Ennen is the director of the Dickinson Area Public Library. Throughout her career, Rita has been passionate about intellectual freedom issues and championing everyone’s right to read freely.

Rita believes that the surest way to protect your own freedom to read, view and participate in all forms of speech and expression is to ensure that everyone else enjoys the same privilege.

Rita currently serves as the Intellectual Freedom Chair for the North Dakota Library Association.
