VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Hobart Lake Road is open to thru traffic. Barnes County Highway Road Superintendent Kerry Johnson said the federal safety project raised the road by five feet.
Johnson said at a second location, the contractor wrapped up the repair work of a culvert washed out five weeks ago northwest of Valley City on Barnes Country Road 19. Johnson said both roads are now open to thru traffic just in time for the holiday weekend. The attached photos below were taken on the final day of the culvert repair project.
