JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) is offering grants to help ND grocers and charitable feeding programs make necessary investments in refrigeration systems that will help ensure that people have access to and grocers/food networks are able to provide continued, uninterrupted access to fresh foods.

Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) Business Development Director Corry Shevlin stated that the grant funds would assist organizations taking on extra workload amid the pandemic.

Shevlin added that there have already been some organizations that have reached out about the potential funding.

In other grant programs, the economic resiliency grant application period has been closed. There was no word on how any funds were allocated, but Shevlin says there was a significant amount of applications submitted.
