Tammy Bohnenberger, age 52, from Jamestown, ND – I wrote my own obituary after being diagnosed with metastasized Pancreatic Cancer.  We all know I like to have the last word.  It pains me to admit it, but apparently I have passed away if you are reading this.

I was born on January 24, 1968 to Gerald Bohnenberger and Cynthia (Dave) Hinz, nee Smith.

The Lord has definitely blessed me with a great support system through family and friends.  Not sure what I would have done without my mom and my hubs; they have been great through all of this.

I enjoyed making memories with my family, working, cooking shows, gardening (even though I had a black thumb with inside plants), making the fairy gardens with the grandkids, canning, taking tons of pictures and my fur babies.

Although my passion was making people laugh, I could certainly bust into song during any conversation and belt out some Reba’s Fancy in the car with mic in hand.  “To Thine own self be true,” always remember that.

For you all that stayed in contact through all of this, I love you and thank you so much…the ones who didn’t I am sorry for your loss.  I was seriously blessed beyond measure knowing you all.  Someone who had terminal cancer once said, “Don’t be sad for me, we all come to this world to be tourists, enjoy life, go sightseeing and do good deeds, I just so happen to be leaving earlier than others.”

Did I make a difference? I’m thinking “heck yeah” for some I sure did!  Life is not about the destination, it’s about the journey.  Live your best life and be your best self.  Figure out what makes you happy and do that before it’s too late.

Please don’t cry (well maybe a little bit after I’m gone) As I am pain free and probably dancing to the Cupid Shuffle up here as I’m watching over you all.
Now for the blah blah stuff: I had friends in all walks of life.  I worked at a nursing home, dealt blackjack, did some home health, clean houses, owned ½ of a cab company, sold cosmetics, enjoyed doing vendor shows plus putting them together and worked at the State Hospital.  It was a full and wonderful life.

I am survived by parents, Cynthia (Dave) Hinz; Mib and Linda Hundley (2nd parents); Travis Norheim who is probably the most tolerable hubs ever.  I couldn’t have asked for more since my diagnosis (oh who am I kidding, yes I could have), Jordan (Candice) Daulton, Joshua (Julee) Daulton, Jamie (Kris) Daulton; 12 grandchildren; Uncles; Aunts; and Cousins galore.

I am greeted in Heaven by: Jonathan Daulton (son); Kevin Smith (cousin); Harry and Geraldine (Berd) Smith (grandparents); Ken Smith (uncle); Thelma Clark (great-grandmother); Steve Bohnenberger (uncle); Lyle Bohnenberger (grandfather); and Diane Elhard (aunt).
