VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The latest report from the North Dakota Department of Health shows 41 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Barnes County since Friday, August 28th.
City County Health District Administrator Theresa Will said six were reported Friday, 20 on Saturday, four Sunday, five on Monday and one on Tuesday, September 1st. She said a few of those cases are attributed to a party bus.
She said one daycare facility in Valley City voluntarily shutdown due to a positive case of COVID-19.
Will said a free COVID-19 testing event will be held in Valley City on Wednesday, September 2nd in the parking lot of Valley City State Universities Lokken Stadium from 4pm to 5pm.
She urged everyone one to practice better social distancing protocols during the pandemic to slow the spread of this virus. The full interview is available below.
