JAMESTOWN, N.D. (newsdakota.com) – No surprise to see both defending state champs Kidder County and Langdon Area-Edmore/Munich leading the way atop the polls.

Langdon defeated Northern Cass, under new head coach Tyler Ukestad, 59-12 to begin their defense of a Class A title.

Other notable scores at the Class A level includes #4 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion beating Enderlin/Maple Valley 50-8. Loboes sophomore tight end Colton Ness snatched 7 receptions for a whopping 177 yards and 5 touchdowns in the win.

Maybe the most impressive win over last weekend was unranked Dickinson Trinity knocking off previously ranked Bishop Ryan 29-27.

9-Man also saw a shakeup last week. New Rockford/Sheyenne vaulted into the top 5 after Mohall-Lansford/Sherwood dropped a 20 point affair against Ray/Powers-Lake.
