Marcella Kamesch, 96, Hillsboro, ND, passed August 10, 2020, at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City.

Marcella was born July 7, 1924 in Leeds, ND to C. Reuben and Mendie (Hanson) Larson. She was baptized and confirmed in Leeds Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie, her dad, mom and sisters, Evelyn Bratlee and Mildred Wells.Marcella graduated from Leeds High School and attended Interstate Business College, Fargo, ND. She worked as a secretary in Hillsboro, ND where she met and married Conrad Kamesch in Leeds, ND in 1946.

She is survived by their three children, Charles Kamesch, Jamestown, ND; Mary (David) Beacom, Broomfield, CO; and John Kamesch, Grand Forks, ND. Grandchildren, Shannon (Jerod) Silvers; Kendra Kamesch; Shane (Jesse) Burnham Kamesch; great-grandchildren and her sister Ruth Nickoley, Littleton, CO.Marcella was a loving mother and wonderful caregiver to family and friends, active in OSLC, and volunteered at the Hillsboro Nursing Home. She enjoyed singing, baking, entertaining, crafts, bridge and her Hillsboro friends. She will be missed.
