JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Monday, July 20th, 67 talented 4-H’ers from across the state made 56 Communication Arts presentations in a Zoom State Communication Arts contest.
These members must have received a grand champion at their district competition in order to be eligible to compete at the state level. Stutsman County had four 4-H members who participated in this state event. Logan Motter placed second in the senior division of the Drama category.
Destiny Opp placed third in the junior division of the Drama category. Elizabeth and Annabelle Rittenbach placed third in the junior team division of the Mass Media category.
There are 8 categories in 4-H Communication Arts with two age groups and the option of having a team or individual in most of those categories.
If you would like more information about the 4-H communication arts program, or 4-H in general, contact the NDSU Extension Stutsman County office at 252-9030 and ask for Robin.
