VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several rail cars derailed on Tuesday, July 21st about 8:48pm north of Valley City.
Barnes County Deputy Doug Kiefert said the cause of the derailment is under investigation. He said no injuries were reported in this incident.
No hazardous material was being hauled at the time of the derailment. The rail line is owned by Canadian Pacific Railway.
