JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The mass COVID-19 testing event held in Jamestown on Thursday, June 18th resulted in two positive cases.
The mass event, which tested 566 people, was considered a major success by Central Valley Health Unit Administrator Robin Iszler.
Iszler added that they are in the process of contacting those who tested negative.
Director of Health Promotions Shannon Kaiser says they were grateful to have support from multiple entities.
Iszler added that with the success of the first event, there will be discussions on possibly holding another mass testing event in July.
Iszler says even with the success of their first mass testing event in Stutsman County, it’s still important for residents to know that COVID-19 is still in the community and to remain vigilant.
