covid-19-test

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents of Stutsman County will be welcomed to participate in a mass COVID-19 testing event today from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds.

The drive-up event is being put on by Central Valley Health and the North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota National Guard.

Central Valley Health Unit Administrator Robin Islzer says this event is free and no insurance is needed.

Iszler says preregistration isn’t required, but is encouraged and will help move testing along much faster. She added that once testing is completed, they’ll follow up with both positive and negative test results.

Iszler welcomes those who are feeling sick, those who have been in close contact with someone they think may have COVID-19, and those who may be curious if they’re asymptomatic.

The testing process will take about 15 minutes and wait times may be longer. The test will be administered orally.

Iszler says there can be more than one person to a car and asked that residents leave their pets at home. There are also no age restrictions.

You’re encouraged to register ahead of time at testreg.nd.gov.
