JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC) is following the state in relaxing their guidelines and regulations this summer.

TRAC continues to adjust and adapt amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, but has been open and operating in this “new normal” for nearly a month. Facilities Manager Amy Walters says they’re slowly relaxing some of those restrictions.

Walters says children 14 and up can attend without supervision as long as they follow guidelines that respect staff.

“Children under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian present when they are in the building,” Walters says. “We will be taking a zero-tolerance approach to this and will ask anyone that does not follow the guidelines to leave the facility.”

Other parts of the facility now open to the public include the bubble, group exercise rooms, locker rooms, and the pool.

Some restrictions do remain in place including the drop-in childcare. Showers are available on the pool deck for users prior to and after using the pool.

Walters says they also have multiple minicamps, swim lessons, and are accepting preschool registrations.
