JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Just like other sites around Jamestown, social distancing and a clean environment are at the top of the list for the Historic 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse.
The summer season is well underway for the historic site, which Site Supervisor Steve Reidburn says features a new, special exhibit in each room of the courthouse.
Reidburn says this is not only a unique new thing to the courthouse, but is a one-of-a-kind experience.
The amount of people allowed inside the courthouse each time is limited, but Reidburn says they welcome anyone to stop in and view the new things at the courthouse. He added that the escape room in the basement is also closed at this time, but may reopen based on guidelines from the state.
Reidburn says that those who have visited the courthouse before should make another visit and see what’s been updated.
The Historic 1883 Courthouse will also be holding a concert open to the public on July 25th as part of Buffalo Days with Linda & Terry Schwartz and D.W. Groethe performing on the lawn.
Hours of operation for the site is Wednesdays through Sundays. You can like the 1883 Historic Stutsman County Courthouse on Facebook for the latest updates, visit history.nd.gov or call 701-252-1170.
