
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A total of 3,455 ballots were sent out to Barnes County residents during the 2020 Primary Election.
Auditor Beth Didier said so far, 2,768 ballots have been returned. The deadline to drop off ballots in 4 pm (today) June 9th. The drop off box is located near the north entrance of the Barnes County Courthouse in Valley City.
She said in the 2018 Primary Election, we had 2,585 voters, so we have surpassed the 2018 level of ballots cast in Barnes County.
