VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Firefighters responded to a fire at a home in Valley City on Friday, June 5th. Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said there was one person inside the home and that individual was not injured.

He said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, June 4th firefighters responded to a report of a gas line leak near FEI in Valley City. The building was temporarily evacuated as crews worked to repair the gas line leak nearby. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters had to remove a couch from a home as they responded to a fire call at the home on June 5th in Valley City.
