JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As temperatures warm up, wildlife becomes more and more active in North Dakota.
North Dakota Game & Fish Department Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says when it comes to baby wildlife to leave it alone.
Leier says when you see a baby animal alone in the wild, the mother typically isn’t far from it.
In other Game & Fish news, free fishing weekend will be held Saturday and Sunday in North Dakota.
Leier added that they are also slowly opening up offices to appointment only. This includes the Jamestown office on June 8th.
You can listen to Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:35 AM on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM with JD in the Morning.
