VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Here is a list of the calls for service that the Valley City Rural Fire Department responded over the last few days.
Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said on 05/27/2020 at 15:33-1800 firefighters responded to a fire at the landfill, grass and old utility poles.
05/27/2020 at 21:53-22:50, we responded to a one vehicle collision involving a deer. The driver was treated at Mercy Hospital for non-life threatening injuries and released.
05/28/2020 at 11:10-12:15 firefighters responded to the landfill for a rekindle of a previous fire.
06/01/2020 at 17:42-19:45 firefighters responded to a grass fire caused by a train at 126th Ave and 33rd St SE.
On 06/01/2020 at 17:46-18:45 firefighters responded to a gas odor at 145 N Central Ave, the department evacuated the building, located the leak, turned off the gas and called the utility company MDU. No injuries were reported.
