N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Officials with the North Dakota State Fair say they are on pace to set an attendance record.

Marketing Director Jennifer Ashley says attendance through the first three days stands at almost 120,000.

Congratulations to Lacey Schmitz of Dickey County her steer was awarded the Grand Champion Market Steer at the North Dakota State Fair, a 1,326 pound steer. Other winners were Haley Anderson and Sidney Anderson of Milnor, North Dakota.

Top Horse Pullers Award went to Travis House of Amenia, North Dakota. House had the top team in the percentage pull at the State Fair Horse Pull by pulling 169 percent of his team’s 3,025 pound weight. Dennis Fick of Litchfield, took second in the percentage pull at the North Dakota State Fair.
