JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the first full week of Spring Turkey season is in the books.
The season, which runs through May 17th, has had some great reports so far according to Leier.
Leier says for fishing, anglers are encouraged to take advantage of open shore fishing as the weather warms up.
He added that maintaining physical separation is still in effect, so respect distance between other hunters and anglers.
Game & Fish is also asking residents and outdoor enthusiasts to keep an eye out for eagle nests, black bears, or whooping cranes.
You can catch Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:35 AM with JD in the Morning on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM.
