JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With 5 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in North Dakota and information constantly changing, Central Valley Health is working to keep Jamestown and Stutsman County informed.

Central Valley Health Unit Administrator Robin Iszler says there are some things that are still in effect including school closures and limits on social gatherings.

Iszler says they continue to look to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for their guidance in limiting the spread of COVID-19. She says because information is consistently changing, they’re encouraged to contact the North Dakota Department of Health’s hotline at 1-866-207-2880 daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Those who have traveled in the U.S. or state are also encouraged to register on the NDDoH’s website.

Iszler says they continue to get questions from businesses and daycares. One of the more common questions is the taking of temperatures from anyone entering a business or daycare.

As of Tuesday, March 17th, no one has been tested in Stutsman County for COVID-19. Iszler added that if you are experiencing symptoms like fever, cough and shortness of breath, you’re encouraged to reach out to your healthcare provider for your next steps.

If you have questions, call the hotline at 1-866-207-2880 daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can also visit centralvalleyheath.org for more information.
