JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The District 12 Republican Executive Committee appointed Mitch Ostlie to serve the remainder of Jamestown Representative Jim Grueneich’s term in the North Dakota House of Representatives.

Ostlie signed the necessary paperwork and was notorized Friday. He says he’s appreciated the support and will look to run for the full term during the June Primary.

Ostlie says he has yet to be nominated for any committee work by the North Dakota Speaker of the House.

Grueneich had resigned from the Legislature effective February 11th. He announced earlier that he was relocating with his family outside of District 12.
