FARGO,N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After a tough dual loss to Jamestown. Valley City had to comeback two hours later and ten wrestlers were in the championship second round. Of those ten, four won to move into Friday’s semifinals.

Koye Grebel won by fall over Malachi Werremeyer of Fargo Davies in 1:02 at 106. Ethan Miller advanced to the semifinals with a 7-1 win over Warrick Morel of Dickinson.

Bennett Rogelstad lost his semifinal bid 8-6 in sudden victory to Marcus Johnson of West Fargo Sheyenne at 120. At 126 Austin Rogelstad lost to top seed Reece Barnhardt of Bismarck St. Mary’s by fall at 1:02

At 152, Ezra Hanse lost by fall to top seed Brock Fettig of Bismarck in 3:18. Top seed Parker Larson moved into the semifinals with a pin of Evan Bridgeford of Grand Forks Central in 2:17.

At 170, Broden Muske fell to top seed Gage Roaldson of Bismarck by fall at 2:30. Jonathan Redfearn lost at 182 to Anthony Carranza of Bismarck Century 15-5. Jonah Schuldheisz moved to the semifinals with a 7-4 win over Beau Mattson of Watford City. And at 220, Carson McGough lost to top seed Truman Werremeyer 10-1.

Friday the individual consolation 1st round starts at 11. The individual semifinals will be around 5pm.
