JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In the middle of a long winter, the Jamestown Sport & Recreation Show comes at a great time.
The annual show brings in multiple vendors to the Jamestown Civic Center for two days. i3G Media Sales Manager Lynn Lambrecht says they’ll have everything from campers to pontoons on the floor for people to view and follows the popular Winter Ag & Construction Expo.
Lambrecht says the event is for those looking to prepare for the summertime and brings the inventory to one location for anyone to stop and view for free.
Lambrecht says they’ll also have Caves from Bismarck, who will be bringing in their man cave and she shed products including pool tables, arcade games, home theatre systems, and neon signs.
The event will also feature the Super Soup Bowl, a soup cook off that will raise funds for United Way. The Optimist Spaghetti Feed also returns Friday night. Home businesses will also line the upper concourse of the Civic.
New this year will be a Kids Zone on Saturday. Lambrecht says this will be something for the kids to do so the “big kids” can view the “big toys.”
The Sport & Recreation Show will run Friday, January 31st from 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, February 1st from 9 AM to 4 PM. The event is free and open to all.
