VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A public hearing on a water shut down in the Barnes Rural Water District will be held Tuesday, January 7th at 7pm in the Valley City Eagles Club.

On November 6th of 2019, Barnes Rural Water shut-off water to some 25 residential customers in Lee’s Subdivision on Lake Ashtabula due to waterline breaks caused by land erosion issues near these homes.

A few families were displaced after the water shutdown. Their concerns will be recorded during a public hearing at 7pm in the Valley City Eagles Club.
