JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the first time since the consolation semifinals of the 2018 Class A State Tournament, the Jamestown High boys basketball team lost. After winning 32 consecutive games, the streak finally ended in Minot on Saturday night. The Magi took a big lead and then held on for a dear-life with a 71-64 victory.

Jamestown trailed by 23 in the first half, but cut it all the way down to five in the closing minutes of the game. They outscored Minot 35-24 in the second 18 minutes.

Boden Skunberg, who missed the last two games with the flu, lead the way with 28. Brooks Carroll added 13.

The Jays are back in action Friday night at Bismarck Century.

GBB: Minot 61, Blue Jays 55.

The girls dropped their home game with Minot on Saturday afternoon. They also play Century on Friday night.
