JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public Works Department announced Thursday that a portion of 1st Avenue in Jamestown for a part of Thursday morning for utility service work.

The detour is in effect from 9AM to 12PM on December 19th. 1st Ave will be closed to through traffic from 1st St. South to 4th St. North. Traffic will be diverted to 2nd St. East and 2nd St. West.

Motorists are advised to use extreme caution during this closure.
