BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There’s still plenty of opportunity to get outdoors this winter.
Game & Fish Outdoor Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier reports interested hunters can participate in a variety of late hunting seasons through January 5th, 2020.
Leier also says late season hunting provides a little lese competition and it’s not quite as congested as it could be other times of the year.
He also reminders anglers to be patient as ice forms slowly across the area.
Leier says those permits need to be acquired and signed 30 days prior to any ice fishing tournament. He says this helps with planning and ensuring that not too many tournaments are taking place at the same time.
