CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Despite five forfeits, the Carrington Cardinals hold on to defeat the Tornadoes of Oakes on Tuesday night 39-36. Carrington is 1-0 in duals, Oakes drops to 0-1. The Cardinals were open at 145, 152, 182, 220 and 285, but jumped out to an early 27-0 lead in the first five weight classes, four of the five wins were by fall.

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, December 3rd at fellow Region 2 team Hillsboro, KDAK the Cardinal will have coverage starting about 645pm. Next up for Oakes will be in Oakes against Lisbon December 5th.
