VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Renaissance Zone Authority Board is seeking a member to fill the remainder of a 3-year term ending June 30, 2022. The board thanked Tony Kobbervig for his twenty years of service to the program and the board recently.
The Valley City Renaissance Zone provides tax advantages to new construction and substantial rehabilitation of properties within the designed zone. Advantages include a five year property tax exemption and a North Dakota Income Tax Credit. The board is preparing a Development Plan for 2020-2024 and is seeking public input.
The pubic hearing will be held Monday, December 9th at 5:15pm in the Valley City Commission Chambers. The board will solicit input from the public regarding amendments to the City of Valley City Renaissance Zone Development Plan. A copy of the Development Plan is on file in the City Auditor’s office.
