HOPE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) For the first time in program history, the Kidder County Wolves are heading to Fargo on Friday, November 15th to play in the 27th annual Dakota Bowl at the FargoDome. The number five rated Wolves knocked off the number three rated and previously undefeated Spartans of Finley/Sharon/Hope/Page 46-6 in the Class B 9-man semifinal contest on Saturday afternoon. KC improves to 10-1 overall and will take on undefeated and number one ranked Cavalier at 9:10am on Friday in the championship, FSHP ends their season at 11-1.

The Spartans scored first with almost five minutes played in the first quarter when Owen Zerface connected with Philip Platt for a 10-yard touchdown, but it was all KC after that, scoring six unanswered TD’s. Parker Hager rushed for four touchdowns on six carries and 160 yards. Jack Ihry was held to 64 yards on 18 carries and no TD’s.
