(NewsDakota.com) The Carrington Post 25 baseball team took it to Oakes Post 36 in Section 2 baseball on Friday night in Carrington. Lead by a six run first inning in which Post 36 committed three errors, Post 25 earned a 13-3 win in six innings.

Post 36 starting pitcher Wyatt Johnson was chased out in the second inning, lasting an inning and a third surrendering ten runs, six earned on just six hits. Pete Hanson earned the victory for Post 25, going all six innings, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out four.

Cole Ehrlin had a double, a single and a run scored, while Simon Maddock had a triple and a run scored in the defeat to send Post 36 to 1-3 in Section 2 play. Kyle Bahm scored three times with two doubles and a single in the win to send Post 25 to 2-2 in Section 2 play.

Next up for Oakes is a date with Lisbon at Cummings Field on Monday night.
