CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2019 District 5 Girls’ Volleyball Tournament will be held in Carrington starting Thursday, October 31st and will continue Friday, November 1st and conclude Monday, Nov. 4th. There will be three games per day starting at 4:30pm everyday. The tournament will take place for the first time in the new East gym in Carrington. Oakes won the District 5 championship over Carrington last year and will be the one seed this year and receive a first round bye. Here are the pairings for the first round on Thursday:

430p – No. 4 Midkota vs. No. 5 Barnes County North

545pm – No. 2 LaMoure/Litchville/Marion vs. No. 7 Ellendale

7pm – No. 3 Carrington vs. No. 6 Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier
