JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The event has been cancelled as of Friday, Oct. 11th.

Christine Witt says the Gospel Music Jamboree was started to bring great music to the public while raising money for different causes.

After a year off, the event returns for its 16th year on Sunday, October 13th.

Witt says this year, they’ll be taking free-will offerings for the jamboree with all proceeds being donated to the James Valley Youth for Christ group. Artists this year include Prairie Harmony Singers, Troy Gunderson, Randy & Cathy Hoekle-Schlect, and the Bracken Sisters & Travis. A meal served up by the volunteers following the jamboree will cost $6 with those proceeds going to Victory Christian School.

The event will be open to all at Temple Baptist Church beginning at 2 PM.
